Our Philosophy

George Siokos Consulting believes that strong performance is the result of a proven formula and process; success does not happen by chance alone. The solutions we provide are based on well-established leadership and management principles, models, theories and frameworks.

The Leadership and Management Processes (LAMP™) Model, presented below, describes the areas that effective leaders and managers must work to ensure success. The LAMP™ Model also reflects the areas that we assess and develop in individuals, teams and organisations as part of our solutions.

To ensure success, both leaders and managers need to understand and adapt to change, however must also provide the way forward. Similarly, leaders and managers must develop capacity to do what is expected, however must also enable the delivery of valued products and services.

Transformational Leadership assumes, and is required during times when, the current rate of change in some areas of an organization is discontinuous and unacceptable; for change to happen revolution is required.

Contextual Leadership assumes, and is required during times when, the current rate of change in some areas of an organization is continuous and predictable, and the process of change will be organic and evolutionary.

Leaders and Managers need to be able to provide both contextual and transformational leadership as required. When these two leadership processes are known, understood and leaders have the confidence to apply them, they are in the best position to lead change and vision, people, systems and structure and plans.

The Building Capacity™ Model describes the factors that underpin capacity. Our solutions are developed and implemented with these factors in mind.
